Is there something on my face?. Is that why everyone is smiling today.
The world seems a happier place today. I was off to Tescos with the baby in her pushchair and i got smiles and hello’s along the way. I was wondering if i knew these people but no – the world and its people around here, are just happy. Anjd i have to say – i like it.

So let me see first things first – I didnt get the job. Yeah i was pretty bummed out but then i thought about it and thought about it some more and decided that the best job in the world is being a mummy and i dont want anyone else to be a mummy to my little girl. So i am happy.
The good thing that came out of it though is that i have been asked to be a street Angel team leader. If you want to know what a street angel is have a looksee. I get a jacket and everything. How exciting.

Well a busy few weekend coming up for me. This weekend i will be doing my usual summer thing and working at Guilfest. I will be working for Eden people, chilling out and chatting to people and just being around for people. I am probably going to be face painting again. Last year, i was pregnant and painted 300 faces. It was pretty fierce.
Then on Sat evening i will be doing the family thing at my parents yearly BBQ. I will be bracing myself for it as i always find the family thing a bit overwhelming.

The following week my little girl is being dedicated. Its like Christening. More on that next week.

So as i promised Pinky – my meme (this is the first one i have ever done so bear with me.

1) cant you remmeber without looking what your first post was about.

No not at all, it was probably some random whittering about it being my first post. Probably not that interesting as i didnt really know what i was doing blogging at all and i didnt think that i really had anything interesting to say.

2) Where did you write it.

Ugh i really want to say on my computer but thats just sad. I think that i was working at Defra at the time so i was suck in a small office with one white guy who thought he was a rastafarian and the next big thing with his smelly band and another guy who thought that he was God’s gift to women and he had slept with over 200 even though he was dog ugly. He spent his days chatting to strippers on MSN and listening to himself Djing on his oversized earphones.
Oh those were the days. And yes i was the only one who did any work.

3) Which was the first blog you read

Well it was a guy that i knew and it looked interesting – blogging not his blog. I then browsed through his friends and then i would have to say amillionpieces. Wow that guy is a ledge.

4) who did or do you tell about your blog

At the beginning i told everyone, my church, family, friends. The my blogging changed over the years and i decided that i wanted to have it private. So i changed blogs. Then i changed again, and again and again and now i am here.

5) Has your blog ever caused a scandal?.

Hmm let me think. Well i was friends with this girl and she hated this other girl who i wanted to be friends with as i thought that she was pretty cool and so the first frined became really nasty and decieded to slag me off and turn a few people against me just because i was friends with this girl.
Playground stuff huh.
As it turns out, my decision was a good one and the girl i am frineds with now is ace. And the friend that was, turned out to be a head case.
Just so you know. I am frineds with everyone and do not have enemys and that is why i wasnt prepared to play games and choose sides.

6) Tell us something random that happened as a result of blogging

Well i met quite a few blogger. I recieved some lovely gifts. A few came to my wedding and a few bought me some precious wedding gifts.
Now i am proud to say that i have some best friends through this funny world of web.

7) Snog, Marry or avoid – pick another blogger for each.

Oh gosh this is awful. Hmm let me ponder. um can i snog a girl?. I am not that way inclined but i think that if i had to snog someone i would have to go with Pinky. I am going from the naughty, saucy, Friday days.
Marry – i think maybe Nikki, she has a lovely garden and she cooks amazing food.
Avoid – I cant say but i would like to also marry Daffy as she has a ton of kids and would know how to look after me. She would also shower my little one with kisses and love.

Whats your most amusing blog memory

Blogging in general is pretty amusing dont you think.

There are different kinds of bloggers, just like there are
different kinds of personalities. Here is my list: 

 1. Hyper-texters: These folks find thing of interest and fill their post full of links. Another name
for this kind of person could also be “Internet Tour Guide.” One example:
“Don’t Wait”

2. Social Commentarians: The blogosphere is full of these.

3. Gimmicksters: Gotta have a trick or some type of clever scheme to attract readers.

4. Dear Diarians: One interesting thing about these bloggers is the large amount of personal information that they share on their online “journal” that they would never say out loud.

5. Escapadists: People who blog after some sort of crazy event or adventure. The question I have about these is this: Do they have adventures, then blog or do they have adventures so
that they can blog? .

6.Cranberries: “Everyone is doing it, so why can’t we?” Practically every person on
MySpace.com

7. Conglamorites: Any combination of the above. 

8.up-Daters: Here we have people who are “talking without
talking” to someone in particular.
